A field study was conducted on effect of some varieties on the incidence of mustard aphid during Rabi 2010-11 and 2011-12 at Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur (U.P.). The predatory ladybird beetle, Coccinella septempunctata reached in (2.82-3.10 beetle/plant) number during first week of March (SW-09 & SW-09) during 2010-2011 and 2011-12, respectively. C. septempunctata increased gradually and its medium being 0.86-0.90, 1.04-1.02, 1.10-1.21, 1.46-1.30, 1.54-1.88, 1.90-1.49 and 0.86-1.04 beetle/plant in February 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th March 10th, 11th and 12th standard weeks. On the basis of toxicity against Coccinella septempunctata the order was Beauveria bassiana > Neemarin > Verticillum lecanii > Dimethoate.
