The study aimed to investigate the effects of feeding different levels of Moringa oleifera (Drumstick) leaf meal on the performance of Japanese quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica). A total of 300 day-old commercial Japanese quail chicks from a single hatch was taken for the 6 weeks trial and divided into five groups (60 birds per group). The birds were fed with different levels of Moringaoleifera leaf meal and were studied for various performance parameters of Japanese quail. Result showed significant increase in body weight, body weight gain, improved FCR and increased gross profit for Japanese quail fed with Moringa oleifera leaf meal compared to the control group without any supplementation. Moringa oleifera leaf meal can be used economically as a natural feed additive in Japanese quail diet at the level of 0.25 to 0.50% to improve the overall performance of Japanese quail.
