abstract
The incident of major insect pest like shoot and fruit borer on brinjal, Hadda beetle, tobacco caterpillar, Fruit borer and Potato tuber moth in solanacea crops and cabbage butterfly, cabbage aphid, painted bug, diamond back moth and leaf caterpillar in Cole crops were observed in major vegetables crops of Namsai District, Arunachal Pradesh. The aim of this article is to make an effort to asses some important insect pest of solanacea, cole, and other vegetables, their identification, damage and management practices.
