The moths laid eggs in groups on ventral surface of the tender leaves and the average fecundity was 250 ± 80.43. Incubation period was 3.5 ± 0.50 (3-5) days, the newly hatched larva was pale green colour with black head. The total larval period was 16.3± 3.92 (13 - 18)days. The grown up caterpillars pupated inside the webs and puapl period was 7-9 days. The moths lived for 7.0±1.08 (6- 9) days.
