Main emphasis is given on different types of water/soil treatment products, disinfectants, therapeutants, anaesthetics, feed additives, growth promoters, vaccines, probiotics etc. along with their commercial availability and recommended dosage. This review study provides a detailed summary of the current state of knowledge on the availability and mode of administration of chemicals or drugs applied in fish and shellfish aquaculture.
